Energy problem is an important factor affecting China’s economic development.With the development of society, energy consumption is increasing. There is more andmore aware of the importance and urgency of energy conservation and consumptionreduction. This dissertation applied exergy cost theory to the combined heat and powerunits. The distribution of unit exergy cost and fuel cost of electricity and heat can bequickly and easily analyzed through the establishment of general matrix model forexergy cost distribution in thermal system of cogeneration units, aiming to save energy.At the same time, by computers and network technology, developing online monitoringsystem to monitor the trend of the distribution of unit exergy cost in the system and fuelcost of electricity and heat instantly, has important and instructive value for operatingpersonnel. All these are of great significance to solve the problem of heating loss andpromote the development of combined heat and power. This dissertation mainly coversthe following aspects:First of all, for two different types of cogeneration thermal systems, general matrixmodel for exergy cost distribution in thermal system of back-pressure cogeneration unitsand extraction-type cogeneration units were respectively set up. Compared with thetraditional computing method of exergy cost, the model is easier to calculate, and theformation is more normative. The model also has good universality. By calculating thecorresponding examples to verify the correctness of the model and analysis was made onthe sample unit.Second, general matrix model for exergy cost was used for cost apportionment, fuelcost of corresponding products was calculated through computing the unit exergy cost ofproducts exergy flows. The model is easier to calculate, and the formation is morenormative. It also can be easily programmed. And it can track energy production andcost formed process by views of systems engineering. So, it can objectively reflect thereal cost of heat and electric power. The fuel cost of heat and electricity of cogenerationunits under different conditions, different operation modes was calculated and analyzedby using general matrix model for exergy cost, and got the rule of the fuel cost of heatand electricity of cogeneration units under different conditions, different operation modes.The fuel cost of heat was been calculated and compared with the one of cogeneration. Itconcluded that cogeneration has great advantage in saving energy and reducingconsumption.The off-line calculation program and on-line monitoring program of unit exergy costof cogeneration units were designed and developed. Off-line calculation program can be used to calculate the unit exergy cost distribution and the fuel cost of heat and electricityunder design conditions and other known operation condition. On-line monitoringprogram can be used to monitor the trend of the distribution of unit exergy cost in thesystem and fuel cost of electricity and heat.
