Line loss is an important indictor for power supply bureau in economy. The size of line loss and the level of line loss management not only represents the level of economic benefits for power supply bureau, but also an indictor which is also assessed by a country according to its energy policy. Therefore, the importance of doing work like line loss management for power supply bureau is self-evident.The significance and background of line loss management is firstly introduced by this article. Nextly, it introduces the present situation for line loss management both at home and abroad and basic theory of line loss and line loss management. At the base of it, it researches on line loss management in-depth for each branch in Hohhot power supply bureau. And using linear regression theory to find the line loss rate trends of each branch, such as the line loss rate is rising or falling, or how much is line loss rate rising or what degree is line loss rate declining. And using the correlation method to determine which branches have much or little influence on administration bureau.Then, using fuzzy clustering method to make branch classification based on the branch line loss rate situation. On this basis, it studies different types. It puts forward some improvement measures with specific practical significance and practical effect, hoping to play a substantial role in reducing the power supply bureau line loss rate.Finally, on the basis, future line loss problems of Hohhot power supply bureau are put forward.
