Recently, more strength lightweight materials are used, and more gentle and long thestructures will be.Stadium stands, temporary stands, footbridge vibration problem occurs fre-quently due to the crowd behavior induced. Especially the large-scale activities such as con-cert building stands collapse and these cause serious injuries and economic losses.In this pa-per, through the establishment of human-strucure horizontal vibration experiment, the humanbody static state, the body jump condition, human body swing state experiment effects inhorizontal vibration.Combined with theoretical method, human-structure horizontal couplingsystem model and the horizontal load model of human jumping, swing are established.(1) The horizontal mode research of human-structure vibration.Testing the modal char-acters of mass-structure system, single human-structure system, multi-human-structure sys-tem.The test results show that the characters of mass-structure and the similar quality hu-man-strcture exist significant differences. At the same time, three human-structure systemmodels are established. Combining with theoretical, this paper verifies the validity of thethree models. Finally, with the results of40group of single-human-structure experiment, thefront-back and lateral frequency range are calculated.(2) The horizontal dynamic responces induced by human jumping and swaying. First-ly,an identification method of the beat frequency in songs is presented, then comparing thedynamic frequencies with the music beat and metronome beat frequency, to verify the validityof the metronome experiment method. Secondly, testing the horizontal vibration response in-duced by human jumping and swaying with1.6-3.2Hz. The results show that the human bodyrhythmic movement is periodic, and the displacement response is more obvious. The dynamicfrequency is near the beat frequency. The swing frequency range wider than jumping’s. Fi-nally, the horizontal load model of human jumping, swing are establishedIn general, human-structure is a complex system. More research and more precise math-ematic model of human-structure should been done.
