Urban rail transit is the effective way to solve the urban traffic problems because of the advantages of its low energy consumption and punctuality; therefore it is investing heavily in the development of urban rail transit in China. But some key technologies and equipment in urban rail transit have low rate of automotive production such as train operation control system which serious constraints on the development of urban rail transit in China because of the Technology is dominated by foreign manufacturers with high price and maintenance costs. Therefore, it is necessary to research on metro train control system to promote the development of urban rail in china.The computer interlocking system (CBI) of Urban Railway is the core subsystem of metro train control system, which is also the key equipment to ensure the safe operation of the train at the platform. Urban rail train control system includes, automatic train protection (ATP) system, automatic train operation (ATO) systems, automatic train supervision (ATS) system and interlocking system. Interlocking system and ATP system is safety-related systems. Interlocking system is a safety-related system which has very high requirements for safety. It require continuous work during Urban rail operations with high density of vehicles, it will cause a series of questions if a failure occurs, therefore, interlocking system must also have a very high level of reliability. Study on reliability and safety of interlocking system is meaningful for the development of urban rail interlocking system, which can also be conducive to the promotion of localization rate of urban rail equipment automotive production.The main contents of this research include the following aspects:The reliability and safety requirements of urban rail interlocking systems were studied. Which include the related standards of urban rail interlocking system and the reliability and security requirements in the standards, the basic theory of reliability and security, including characterization, analytical methods, which laying the foundations for analysis of the reliability and security in interlocking system.The redundancy structures, operative type and failure modes of urban rail interlocking system were studied and the dynamic fault tree was proposed according to the failure modes of the interlocking system which can use analysis of the reliability and security of interlocking system. The dynamic fault tree model of the system for the failure condition was established based on dynamic fault tree theory in the research and combined with the operation way of interlocking system.Because of the dynamic fault tree model of interlocking system is more complex and it would make state space explosion problem when using Markov process, therefore the ideas based on module partition method were proposed for solving created dynamic fault tree, it can effectively solve these issues.A quantitative analysis of dynamic fault tree model was achieved by using Markov process and the Binaty Decision Diagrams approach. Then with the simulation and calculation of the dynamic fault tree in the paper, and finally analyzed the influence of fault detection module and common cause failure rates for the reliability and security in Urban rail transit.
