This paper focuses on the main line of discussing whether the method of pylonand beam synchronous construction can be applied to inclined pylon cable-stayedbridge, relying on the Juzi Island Bridge built in Guangze County, Fujian, mainlycarry out its research work from the following three aspects:1) A brief introduction on the basing project. Use the finite element softwareMIDAS/Civil to build a simulation model of when the basing structure are completedAdd the construction messages to the software respectively according to theconstruction order of the two methods which constructing the main beam aftercompleting the main pylon and constructing the main beam when constructing themain pylon.2) Compare the FEM results of the based structure constructed by method ofpylon and beam asynchronous construction and method of pylon and beamsynchronous construction respectively. Analyze the impact of method of pylon andbeam synchronous construction put on the structure on the two aspects that inconstruction phase and in operational phase, and combined with the advantages anddisadvantages of the two construction methods, discussed the feasibility of thepylon-beam-synchronization method.3) In addition, because the tension force of the cables plays a key role instructure’s character of internal force, the author separate this part as a single chapterwhen studying the impact the method of pylon and beam synchronous constructionput on the structure. In this part, the author firstly introduced the principle offorward-analysis method and forward-iteration method in brief, and calculate theconstruction tension force of the cables which take the designed completing cableforce as targets using the forward-analysis method, and calculate the cable elements’initial tension cable force which take the determined construction cable force astargets using the forward-iteration method. Then the paper analyzes the impact themethod of pylon and beam synchronous construction put on the cable force, andanalyzes the cable force results of construction control of which constructed in themethod of pylon and beam synchronous construction.
