In recent years, energy has become the universal attention of all countries. WithChina’s economic on the rise, higher and higher demands on the living environment ofcomfort, air conditioners and other refrigeration equipment is becoming increasinglypopular, leading to the air conditioning energy consumption is getting higher andhigher. The use of air conditioning frequently in addition to bring huge energyconsumption, also caused the air-condition disease. More and more researchers beganfocus on thermal adaptation problems under free-running environment, in order tocreate a comfortable living environment, and reduce air conditioning energyconsumption. Therefore, the study of human thermal adaptation in free-runningenvironment in an apartment has great significance. This article uses the survey measured, questionnaire and the method of statisticalanalysis, continuous testing of33residential indoor temperature and humidity inBeijing area in2012and2013in the summer (June and August). Questionnaire isused to understand human actual thermal sensation and satisfaction of indoorenvironment. We can know well33residential air conditioning running status throughanalyzing temperature and humidity test curve. The research valid data is the test dataunder free-running environmentWe can get individual’s thermal adaptation condition through adopting themethod of statistical analysis to analyze the valid data. Based on individual’s thermaladaptation condition, we can make a comprehensive analysis to all individuals; thus, work out the suitable thermal adaptation modes in Beijing.Analyze the relationship between thermal history and physiological thermaladaptation. From the angle of thermal history to explain several typical phenomenonappeared in the process of analysis. And we can get the influence that thermal historycondition, the period of thermal history and the difference between indoor andoutdoor environment to physiological thermal adaptation.According to different air conditioning running time, divide the research objectinto3categories, namely, air conditioning periodic running, air conditioning non-periodic running, but running frequently and air conditioning non-periodic running, butrunning seldom. From air conditioning open environment angle to verify the thermaladaptation modes. We find that unacceptable environment can’t completely equivalent to the environment which at the moment of opening air conditioning, and pointing outthat lifestyle factors are the main reason that thermal adaptation modes different withthe environment which at the moment of opening air conditioning.
