In recent years, with the development of construction technology and advancedtheory, super long net shell structure gradually appears in people’s field of vision, andbegins to apply to some important buildings. Seismic action has always been animportant factor in structural design, economic and reasonable aseismatic measures needus to explore constantly. As the structure of net shell structure is reasonable and theweight is lighter, it pays less attention to seismic research in the early times. As the superlong structure is flexibility and the dynamic response is obvious when the earthquakeeffects, therefore, it is necessary to use the reasonable damping measure.There are many seismic control methods. This paper uses viscous dampers insteadof structural component, analyzing a long net shell structure of270meters wide and60meters long in seismic analysis. It mainly chooses two kinds of measured wave and anartificial wave to input the seismic wave under no control action, the structure vibrationmode and natural vibration frequency were gained. Replacing with viscous damperssuper-long double-layer reticulated shell the same number of upper chord and bottomchord. The seismic wave input under the condition of the multidimensional factors.Structure selected the node displacement as the research object, analyzing the effect ofthe structure in using the earthquake control measures under different seismic wave. Thecomparison of the data is to determine the optimal replacement position. In order toensure the guarantee the economy under the condition of safety structure, it substitutedbars on the same side of the layer to different quantities. By comparing the results, itsummarized the effect of quantity substitution on structure. The analysis shows that theincreased number of replacement bar can improve the effect of seismic control, however,it is not the more the better. It needs to control through calculation and analysis on acertain quantity. The study proves that it is feasible that the way of replacement using theviscous dampers net shell structure of the rods, and it has a certain effect. The conclusionprovides a reference for the super long reticulated shell structure.
