Multi span, the big league long prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge notonly adapts to route indicator of high grade highway in higher Topography and complexgeological conditions,but also has the fllowing advantages: driving comfort, good stability,strong spanning ability, having mature construction technology,economical cost etc. Therefore,the span is in the range of100~200m,.Compared with other bridge, it has obvious advantages.But with the increase of continuous length and span number, the end of the pier is inextremely unfavorable stress,And different ways of the final closure has certain influence onthe structure and time limit for the project. Therefore, multi-span continuous rigid framebridge closure program and improvements in engineering side pier stress state is veryimportant.Takeing the Yan’an to Yanchuan highway continuous rigid frame bridge over the YellowRiver as the basis,this paper analyzes of pier and Girder Joint Scheme of design of multi spancontinuous rigid frame bridge of long continuous length.The fllowing is the main researchcontents and achievements:1. On the basis of relying on the project, we established the bridge model of each stage,andcalculated and analyzed the structure of the upper and lower force status, then we get themethod that pier section type and size selection.2. Analysis of the various influence factors on pier stress, obtains the control factors ofdifferent pierdesign.3. The discussion to improve the structure of multi span continuous rigid frame bridgepier stress and construction measures, research to determine the relationship between thethrust and push theclosure of top displacement, determined the size of the jacking force.4.According to the the Yellow River bridge, we propose to use the boundary, cross-timein side spanclosure order that is superior to the side span time-in side span and main spans aboundary cross-side span.This sequence is more conducive to the time before the side spanand middle span closurepushing, and boundary, cross at the same time in the closure can beshorten the construction period.
