Safety of life was menaced seriously by flood disaster, and it would cause greateconomic loss in the world. In recent years, flood control measure has graduallytransformed, engineering measures was instead by non-engineering measures. One ofthe non-engineering measures is flood risk analyzing, which simulating flood routingand working out flood risk maps. In this paper, the traditional1D and2D floodrouting model was improved in some way, and separated models were coupled withreal-time dynamic links. With the models, flood in river and floodplain was simulated, flood risk map was working out through the simulation. The main achievements ofthis paper include:(1) When simulating with traditional1D explicit scheme, the Courant conditionmay lead to a great time consuming. The paper put forwards that Artificial NeuralNetworks optimizes the time steps, the method suffice the stability of the model, andreduce computational time.(2) When simulating dam breaking flood, the region where the flood has notarrived does not participate the calculation. In this paper, by dry depth and wet depththeory and meshes’ water depth, it could judge whether the region would participatecalculation before simulation. The theory optimizes simulation process, reducecomputational time.(3) Traditional1D and2D flood model are independent, which could notsimulate1D and2D flood happening at the same time. In this paper,1-2D dynamiccoupling model of flood routing is established though time synchronous and spacenod corresponds. The coupling model is more reasonable and less time-consumingwhen simulated dike embankment.(4) Flood disaster in HuaiHe are simulated through1D hydrodynamics modelwith water level and discharge, Flood disaster in GuDuiWei are simulated through2Dhydrodynamics model. Flood routing are simulated through coupling model withwater level and discharge.(5) With the simulated result, GuDuiWei flood risk map are compiled by Chinesestandard.
