Airborne camera get video signal system, which the camera is mounted on theaircraft platforms, and jitter video signal for aircraft platform movement, this will notonly affect the visual effects, make observers have dizziness, so that false positivesand false negatives, and give further image analysis brings certain difficulty.Thus, thestabilization of video is more and more important.Video stabilization technology is one of the hot spot on computer imageprocessing. The video stabilization technology mainly solves the video blur caused bythe unexpected movement of the camera platform. The core is to implement a digitalvideo stabilization by image processing technology.According to the needs of the practical task, the dissertation deploys the studieson the electronic image stabilization in the pickup system on aeroplane. It alsoaccomplished the hardware design and realization of a high-performance system ofthe electronic image stabilization on the DSP. The main research contents of thedissertation as follows:1. The motion estimation and motion compensation methods used for electronicimage stabilization are summarized, the merits and demerits of several algorithms areintroduced, the overseas and domestic developments of electronic image stabilizationare summarized, and the basic theory and the general system framework of electronicimage stabilization are introduced.2. Electronic image stabilization is studied, and several Motion Estimationalgorithms and Motion Compenstation algorithms have been chosen, which are fit forair-borne image stabilization system. The realizated process of these effectualalgorithms has been listed.3. In the aspect of hardware implementation, the algorithms are transplanted tothe platform based on TMS320DM642and the system is realized in the embeddedhardware system stably and quickly by using various technologies of codeoptimization.
