Offshore platform topsides are large scale with high cost, it’s very important toensure the safe launching. Compared with vertical loading, restricted with spot’sconditions, it’s more flexible to adopt slippage load out plan. In this case, it’s moreappropriate to load offshore platforms. If the slippage load out plan is adopted,there’re many design conditions, like the chosen for site, slippage arrangement etc. tobe decided at the beginning stage. This text studies90m jack-up self elevatingplatform, analysis the structure strength of platform and the counter-forces to slippageand supports with finite element analysis software. By means of the comparison forvarious launching plans, we select the optimum plan that provide for managers, aimsat realizing safe and economic platform launching mode.
