In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, people’sdemand of intelligent life is higher and higher. Therefore, many domestic and foreignmanufacturers begin to enter the field of smart home, which has given rise to a largenumber of smart home devices. But in general, there are still some shortcomings in them.Smart home technology is based on wireless sensor networks (WSN), so with the rapiddevelopment of wireless sensor networks, intelligent household technology will becomemore and more mature.Compared to the ZigBee technology widely used in wireless sensor networks, thispaper adopts chirp spread spectrum (CSS) technology whichhas a better performance.CSStechnology has many advantages: low power consumption, high integration, highsensitivity, high transmission rate and precision of distance measurement function. Thehighest data rate is up to2MB/s, and the communication distance can reach800meters.In this paper, we designed wireless sensor networks nodes based on the STM32seriesmicroprocessor and nanoPAN5375wireless RF module. The nodes extendsensor module oftemperature, humidity, image, sound and vibration; power supply module;Interface module, etc. Meanwhile, gateway nodes is also designed with the function of Ethernet in order torealize the Ethernet communication. In wireless sensor networks nodes, on the basis ofhardware design, this article also designed software process and code the wirelesscommunication, positioning, transplantation of LwIP protocol stack, data acquisition, display of browser page, making the data transmitted from sensor nodes to the gatewaynodes. Then gateway nodes transmit data through Ethernet to the browser side, implementing data monitoring. At the end of the paper, node communication was tested, and the transmission distanceand power consumption were measured and evaluated. Results show that the systemdesigned can work and power consumption is some ideal. Finally the deficiency existing inthe thesis is also analyzed and the direction of needing to improve and implement in thefuture is put forward.
