Motional cable refers to a special kind of cable which is in motion during the serviceprocess of complex electromechanical products. Due to the flexibility of motional cable andthe complexity of motion space, the process design can be determined only throughexperience, molding and multiple rounds of actual wiring. Therefore, it is unable to obtainthe wiring optimization plan in the design phase. Besides, the reliability of wiring process ispoor and the performance and quality of electromechanical products are seriously affected.For the layout design of motional cable in aerospace seeker, this paper carries out theresearch on the relative theory, key technologies and implementation method of the motionsimulation and layout optimization of motional cable in virtual environment. The studies ofthis dissertation focus on following aspects:(1) The problem of layout design of motional cable in complex electromechanicalproducts is analyzed and the research status of relevant fields at home and abroad isreviewed. Besides, the research background and significance as well as the project sourceare introduced.(2) The physical model which can accurately describe the deformation of motionalcable is built up and the establishing and solving method of balance equations of motionalcable without distribution force is presented.(3) As a unilateral constraint, the smooth plane’s constraint expression is given. Andthe physical model of motional cable under smooth plane constraint is built up. In addition,the posture of motional cable under different boundary conditions are solved and simulatedby using the nonlinear constrained optimization solution.(4) Optimization goals and main constraint of motional cable layout is analyzed andgiven. The layout optimization model of motional cable is built up and the layoutoptimization plan is obtained by adjusting the wiring parameters and completing thesimulation calculation and analysis. Moreover, elastic disturbance torques changes ofsimulation and measurement are compared and analyzed.(5) On the basis of the research content, the prototype system of the motion simulation and wiring process optimization of motional cable is designed and developed. And thesystem is verified with examples.Finally, the summing-up of the whole dissertation and the prediction of the futureresearch and direction of relative techniques are made.
