With the growth of supply and demand in drylands, large-scale, long-distance,inter-basin water transfer project to build more and more, and as long water pipelinesand complex ups and downs in the pipeline are prone to complex hydraulic transientphenomenon (water hammer). Hydraulic transient phenomenon duration is short, butit tends to cause serious engineering accident, seriously affecting the normaloperation of the water conveyance project’s safety and people’s lives and property.Xi’an rim Rivera Lijiahe Reservoir Diversion Project and the water from thereservoir engineering of two parts, the end of the pipeline in order to reduce thepressure and water hammer protection for effective planning in Hebei Lee Route27+602.6and Stake Stake29+366.8at1000m3, each with a sub-pool of bloodpressure regulation. According to the actual operating conditions for the2ndregulating pond proposed three solutions to optimize energy dissipation (largerectangular valve regulating pond, a small rectangular valve regulating pond, a smallcircular valve regulating pond). Based on the three scenarios for hydraulic simulationstudy, the following conclusions:(1) in the design flow, the valve opening of the small local water pipelinesare present between the gate and the negative regulation pool of three designs, butits negative value is smaller, the average velocity in the pipe is less than30m/s,according to the specification requirements can do aerated treatment.(2) does not consider the amount of water required, just from the point of viewof hydraulics, a large rectangular gate length adjustment programs from the originalpool of100m length can be shortened to50m, small rectangular gate lengthadjustment programs from the original pool of100m length can be shortened to 70m.(3) In the long rectangular pool dry pad adjustment case, the jet will be theimpact of regulation pool ’s first floor, on the floor a threat to security. Thereforerecommended that a large gate in the first run of the program, the first use of Q<1.0m3/s pipeline flow regulating pool filled with water, when filled with waterdepths greater than2.2m and then gradually increased to the design flow; first runusing a small valve program Q <0.5m3/s pipeline flow regulating pool filled withwater, when filled with water depths greater than2.0m and then gradually increasedto the design flow.(4) When the pool water level is low, circular regulating pond jets will impactthe wall at the entrance gate house, the proposed program for the first time runninground the pool, using Q <0.5m3/s pipeline flow regulating water-filled pool, flushdepth should be greater than2.0m.(5) regulation pool round and rectangular pool from long hydraulic angleadjustment can meet the design requirements, according to the actual conditions ofthe proposed design and combine the test results for the selected final plan.
