Research And Application On Intelligent Home Care System

China has entered into the aging society in1999, according to the data released byNational Bureau of Statistics,our country’s60years old or older population account14.9%of social total population. The contradiction between social pension servicesand elderly people of empty nest become more and more serious,and brings muchunprecedented pressure to our society. Using new technology to solving pensionproblem is the inevitable choice of modern endowment model.Inorder to solve the problem of residential home care can not remote monitoringelderly’s healthy and secure,we designed an intelligent home care system based onWSN technology.The overall structure of intelligent home care system is based onpension residential intelligent design specifications.The system can be divided intoresidential equipment remote monitoring subsystem, fall detection/emergencysubsystem, indoor temperature monitoring subsystem and personnel positioningsubsystem.The complete of each module circuits design and hardware platform is byanalysis the basic idea of each part of the system. The software design of WSN isbased on TI protocol stack.The WSN platrorm is constructed by TI Z-Stack1.4.3which accorded the ZigBee standards most. The related monitoring software isdeveloped in Visual Basic6.0environment.The complete of design and testing of thesystem’s main functions is based on smart home lab and laboratory equipment ofCrossbow.Using experimental systems,measurements lots of data,completed testing ofresidential smart pension system function.The system can achieve fall alarm,emergency help,personnel positioning,monitoring indoor environment, remote control devices. The system can shorten thedelay time when elders have an accident, protect elder people’s health and reducechildren and social endowment pressure.
