With the improvement of people’s living standards, every family owns a car oreven many cars will gradually become a reality, but it also gives us the planet ofhuman beings brought serious harm, we have begun to face decline in air quality,warming, energy shortages and a series of problems, which traditional automobile isone of the culprits, the upper end of the century developed electric car is to alleviatethis pressure emerged. Electric vehicles with low emissions and even zero-emission,low noise, low heat and other environmental characteristics, its market share has thusgradually improving. Battery electric vehicles as a core part of their performance hasa direct impact on the quality of the entire electric vehicle, so the battery power hasbeen a hot research and development worldwide, and battery testing as an importantpart of the development process, which the importance of self-evident, this article isdesigned to power the battery test platform for expanded research.The main contents of this research include the following:(1)Firstly, the current development of electric vehicles, power battery weresummarized and explained the importance of battery management system in theprocess of testing and using of battery power, and then analyzes the function of thebattery management system, especially the emphasis on SOC estimation analysis.(2)Based on the study of the performance tests on the battery monitoringparameters and functional requirements for battery testing platform launched analysis;via the CAN bus communication protocol analysis summarizes its features and designas the basis for specific CAN bus communication protocol test platform as a wholebattery of PC communication protocol between the lower machine.(3)By analyzing the virtual instrument data acquisition applications, dataacquisition hardware structure design power battery test platform, and by comparingthe various USBCAN converter performance and features chosen GuangzhouZhiyuan Electronics Co., Ltd. developed intelligent USBCAN-2A interface cardbattery management system as a bridge between the host computer and the PC, andusing technology called dynamic link library node good solution USBCAN-2Aintelligent CAN interface card control problems sending and receiving messages.(4)Designed a PC monitor interface, PC monitor interface using NILabVIEW development environment to develop, the development process is modular in design, and the design of real-time monitoring module, CAN packet transceivermodule, CAN message storage module, data processing module and other corefunctions of PC monitoring software.
