In this paper the development of heavy off-road vehicle has been particularstated, and the method of parameter matching of electric drive system has beenanalyzed, then raise the problems that should be solve in the electric drive system,explain the significance of the project of80t10×10heavy off-road vehicle, at lastcombine with the actual project determine the details of this paper.Firstly, the overall design plan of multi-axle heavy off-road vehicle has beenstudied, including the type of electric drive system、wheel drive mode、how to choosethe structure of electric drive system. Based on wheel drive mode and position ofcontroller,3overall design plans that fit the multi-axle heavy off-road vehicle havebeen finished, after comparison of these plans, and consideration of the character ofelectric drive system of multi-axle heavy off-road vehicle and other factors, the finallyoverall design plan has been determined.Secondly, the parameter matching of electric drive system has been studied,based on the theory of parameter matching of dynamic components, the parametermatching of electric drive system including power matching and efficiency matching,then the parameters of engine, generator, motor and so on have been determined.Thirdly, the model of off-road vehicle has been built and the position ofcomponents have been determine. The working character, operational mode of vehicle,control strategy have been studied. In order to implementation the best fuelconsumption and emission, the logic threshold control method that fit the multi-axleheavy off-road vehicle has been chosen. Based on the requirement of the controlstrategy, the schematic design and algorithm of subsystem were finished.Then, running the simulation model, based on the result4mixedness plans havebeen selected, after the calculation of cycle run, full load acceleration, climb, somevariable of dynamic performance and fuel economy have been got. Consideration thebattery technology and costing, the value of mixedness is11.6%. After parametermatching the dynamic performance satisfy the design plan.After parameter matching, the sensitivity of parameters such as gross weight,transmission ratio, coefficient of air resistance, rolling resistance coefficient have beencalculated. Then set the dynamic performance of multi-axle heavy off-road vehicle asthe restrain condition, set the fuel economy as the objective, set reduction ratio as thevariable, based on these conditions the optimization of electric drive system have beendone. The achievement of this paper support the relate research of electric drive systemof multi-axle heavy off-road vehicle, and provide design plan for the similar vehicle,therefore this paper is valuable. The more important thing is that multi-axle heavyoff-road vehicle can improve the defense ability of our country.
