In recent years, double-row-piles wall as a new type of supportting structure, takes a verysignificant role in foundation pit engineering. Compared with soldier pile wall, double-row-pileswall is an eligible plate of enough rigidity, has smaller horizontal displacement and is moreconvenient for construction. Based on the conditions which horizontal displacement of the frontpile is larger than the back pile’s, the paper researches and analyzes the earth pressure betweenthe piles of double-row-piles wall. The main work and research results are as bellowed.(1) The excavation sequences are simulated by PLAXIS, the distribution of horizontaldisplacement and earth pressure of the double-row-piles wall are analyzed. The influeningfactors are studied, which includes the row spacing, the embedment and rigidity of the pile.(2) The connection between stress state of soil and displacement of double-row-piles wall isanalyzed. The earth pressure on the front pile generated by the soil between piles is calculated byenergy method and superposition method.(3) The results of energy method and superposition method are compared through thenumerical example of double-row piles wall. According to PLAXIS, energy method shows moreapplicable to calculate the earth pressure on the front pile generated by the soil thansuperposition method.
