Study On Design Of High-rise Residential In Small Towns Of Chongqing

With the development of China’s economy and the sharp increase of the country’spopulation, properly increasing the amounts of high-rise residential, which are intendedto effectively meet the requirement of the urban construction and development. Thehigh-rise residential are beginning to develop gradually in small towns.Some achievements and experience obtained in the construction of the high–riseresidential with regard to planning and designing in small towns of Chongqing,whereas in the meantime numerous problems and disadvantageous have risen up, whichmainly center on the inappropriate design on the scale between the small towns andhigh–rise residential and leads to such ensuing problems as:the uncoordination betweenthe residential and sorroudings, etc. Consequently,these problems are bringing aboutunfavorable impacts on the wholesome development of the space in the small towns ofChongqing.This dissertation sums up the requirements and major models of planning anddesigning relating to high-rise residential, by referring to the core factors(the view ofsmall towms; residential environment) of high-rise residential,by investigating andcounting the high-rise residential in the samll towns of Chongqing, and by digging intothe planning of communities, design of skyline, design of single residential, publicspace management and environmental design. Meanwhile, it verifies and demonstratesthe rationality of the requirements and models by citing the design and planning ofshanhua street community in Changsha Town, Kaixian County and naturally puts forththe corresponding suggestions and countermeasures concerning the planning anddesigning of the high floor area ratio communities in the small towns.This dissertation aims at coordinating the relationgship between the small towmsand the high-rise residential, and providing conducive advices and references to theplanning and designing of the high-rise residential in the small towns of Chongqing,soas to ameliorate the residential quality,accelerate the wholesome development ofhigh-rise residential in the small towns of chongqing, and meanwhile, offer a referenceto the planning and designing of high-rise residential in other areas.
