After30years of reform and opening up, the economy and society went intotransition development. To build a resource-conserving and environmentally friendlysociety has become an important focus. To this end, the production and application ofiron and steel industry should be recycled.The application of high strength steel and high strength concrete can greatly savethe use of steel, save resources and get significant economic benefits.Aiming the economic feasibility and safety of high-strength steel (500MPa gradesteel) using in high strength steel in the high-rise shear wall system and the frame tubestructure, the research content and research results are as follows:PKPM and STAT software are applied to calculate the amount of a certainnumber of shear wall structure, frame shell structure modeling analysis and statisticsof quantitiesusing500MPa reinforcement instead of400MPa. On the basis of safety,compute the saving steel capital benefit; Offer different reinforcement scheme ofreinforcement engineering cost saving rate to maximize the benefit. Drawing ahigh-rise structure with500MPa optimization scheme can popularize and apply highstrength steel smoothly.The use of high strength steel can achieve good effect of saving material in shearwall system strengthening area at the bottom of the shear wall and the beam andcolumn in framed-tube structure.In the structure with high seismic grade, the site categories, the effect of usinghigh strength steel can save much more steel; The higher the seismic intensity, themore obvious economic benefit when using high strength steel.For high strength steel structure, in satisfies of the requirement of axialcompression ratio and deformation requirement of frequent earthquake conditions, thelargest interlayer displacement angle of the structure using500MPa under severeearthquake is among the code requirement, satisfied the requirement of the rarely metearthquake requirement under the action of deformation. It can achieve the third levelseismic fortification goal.In this paper, the analysis of the results can be used for the economy and safetyof the structure using high-strength steel to provide data support and technical depend.
