Energy saving is a research hot spot in motor field. Because the traditionalmotor’s power density is small and need variable speed device, this increases the energyconsumption of the motor. Therefore, the development and application of high speedmotor is more and more received people’s attention.Brushless dc motor can be used as ahigh speed motor because of its excellent organization and properties.When brushless dcmotor moves at high speed, the electromagnetic torque ripple can make the motor powerconsumption increases.Therefore, the study of brushless dc motor’s torque ripple formotor energy saving is of great significance.The reason of brushless dc motor’s torque ripple has a lot of.This paper tries toadopt a new motor control method to suppress the torque ripple.First of all, the articleanalyses the basic structure of the brushless dc motor principle, and its mathematicsmodel is deduced;The paper analysis four kinds of PWM modulation method.When thebrushless dc motor runs on the commutation time,four modulation method was deducedand compared under the size of the torque ripple according to the mathematical model ofbrushless dc motor. The motor torque ripple is the minimum when using pwm-on.Then, this paper presents a brushless dc motor control system based on cukconverter. It can inhibit the motor torque ripple after theoretical analysis and comparisonwith pwm-on.The paper has carried on the system simulation, and the simulation resultscompared with PWM modulation show that the system can effectively inhibit thecommutation torque ripple, and eliminate the conduction of the torque ripple.Finally, according to the simulation of system, the paper designs system hardwarecircuit, mainly for Cuk circuit design;The system adopts the DSP control system, and thepaper designs the corresponding peripheral circuits and drive isolation circuit, etc.;It writes the corresponding program and carries on the experimental verification.
