In order to further improve the performance and efficiency of power electronicequipment and system, hybrid control technology draws more and more attention. In recentyears, hybrid control technology has been widely used in unidirectional and bidirectionalDC/DC converters. The unidirectional hybrid control DC/DC converter and bidirectionalhybrid DC/DC converter are studied in this paper.Firstly, the working principle of a hybrid control unidirectional DC/DC converter isanalyzed. On this basis, resonant parameter design and soft switching conditions are given. The parameters of the converter are designed and the power loss is analyzed. Lastly, thevalidity of the analysis of the operating principles of the proposed converter is certified bythe simulations and experiments. The high efficiency is proved through experiments. Toeliminate the circulation problem, an improved control method is proposed, and thesimulation analysis is presented.A hybrid control bidirectional DC/DC converter is also analyzed in this article, softswitching conditions and circulation loss problem are researched in detail. The parametersare designed according to the actual demand. In order to increase the power rating of thesystem, improve redundancy and flexibility, control strategy for parallel connectedmultiple modules is studied in this paper. To ameliorate the HV side voltage regulation, animproved decentralized control strategy is proposed. The system stability is analyzed basedon small-signal model. Then, the feasibility of the proposed control strategy is certified bythe simulations. It turns out that the proposed control strategy can effectively achieveaccurate current sharing, though the device parameters of each module are different.Experiment validations are given for the decentralized control method of parallelbidirectional DC/DC converter. It shows that excellent power sharing can be achieved bothunder steady and dynamic states, and the HV side voltage regulation is good. Besides,hot-swapping can be got.
