With the rapid development of modern automatic control technology and computer,high speed and ultra-high speed machining requirements servo system has a very highspeed of add and subtract, leading to the emergence and development of the linear ACservo motor drive system. Compared with normal motor, permanent magnet synchronouslinear motor (PMSLM) has the advantages of high precision, high speed and large thrust. Itwill have broad prospect of application in high speed, high precision numerical controlsystem and precision measurement occasions. Vector control theory promotes thedevelopment of AC drive, and makes the AC motor control to obtain a qualitative leap. ACstep control is a new branch of study in the development of the motion control. It is a newtransmission control which is under the control of the microcomputer powered by a staticfrequency converter and makes the synchronous motor stator MMFs discrete movement tooutput the position and speed on the shaft. This new AC step drive system consists of themicroprocessor, static power converters and synchronous has broad development prospects.In this paper, permanent magnet synchronous linear motor stepper control system isnot only modeled, but also we simulate and analyze the current, velocity, position andelectromagnetic thrust of PMSLM mover by using mover current directional controlstrategy in lifting frequency incremental motion control mode and also through theexperimental verification. First of all, the mathematical model of PMSLM stepper controlsystem (including motor model and system simulation model) is set up. By analyzing theworking principle and basic structure of PMSLM, and based on the AC step theory, thespace vector transform formula and corresponding mathematical model of PMSLM arededuced. Secondly, to achieve more accurate positioning control of PMSLM, the controlsystem applies AC step control theory. Application of mover current directional controlstrategy establishes mover current directional control system structure to research thedynamic and static characteristics of PMSLM in raise and slow frequency incrementalmotion control mode and analysis the positioning properties of discrete current incrementalmotion control system. Due to the control system of permanent magnet synchronous linearmotor current loop control performance has a large extent impact on the performance of theservo system, so the research of the current loop control strategy has the very vital significance in order to realize the precise control of current.The permanent magnet synchronous linear motor position control system utilizesdigital signal processor (DSP) as the core control system structure. And the hardware andsoftware design and implementation are introduced in detail in this paper.We imply the simulation and experimental verification according to the control metho-d proposed in this paper and verify the feasibility of the designed permanent magnet synchronous linear motor position control system.
