With the increasing of weapons and equipment technology, puts forward therequirements on the performance of the silver zinc batteries. Zinc silver battery cansmooth discharge, high ratio energy discharge and high safety and reliability. Silverelectrode is zinc-silver positive electrode of the battery, the final properties of zinc-silver battery has an important influence. In recent years, although the silver electrodein raw materials and preparation technology progress, however, the preparation ofsilver electrode electrochemical method is widely used. Therefore, how to improvethe performance of electrochemical methods of preparation of silver electrode becomea hot spot of research at home and abroad, especially the electric properties andstorage performance.At present, the zinc silver battery positive and negative active material utilizationratio is about55%. Electrode thickness uniformity is poor due to manual process,poor strength, shorten the battery life. The positive USES new reaction route toproduce glucose, produce the silver powder on the physical properties of suppressingelectrode can meet the technological requirements. At the same time, the utilizationrate than traditional thermal decomposition of acetic acid silver and silver oxidethermal decomposition of silver powder increased by5%~10%. And in assemblingvalidation test for effective battery, with glucose as the positive active material ofbattery, silver its utilization than silver acetate as the positive active material ofbattery was obviously improved.The cathode by different proportion of mixed zinc powder binder suppressiontest and corresponding e-test, determine the content of polyvinyl alcohol per100gpowder add2%of poly (vinyl alcohol)18ml; Through comparing old and newcathode active material formula experiment, shows that the new formula not only canimprove the utilization rate of early active substances, and can maintain multiplecycle high efficiency; Using the new formula and USES the three tube rolling mixedgranulation powder mixer made of cathode active material can greatly improve thequalified rate of the electrode. Suppress XYZ5battery cathode, the electrode ofqualified rate reached97%.
