Due to the adverse environmental impacts and the huge costs and lossesin long transmission lines of large centralized generators, distributedgeneration system with renewable energy has developed at a rapid speed inthe past few decades. With the increasing numbers of distributed generations,how to manage them efficiently have already become a hot research topic atpresent. To solve this problem, the concept of Micro Grid was presented bydomestic and foreign scholars, and the Micro Grid has soon become amainstream control strategy of the distributed generations because of itsflexibility and reliability. This paper has described the different controlstrategies of the Micro Grid after consulting materials and data, and chooseDroop control strategy as the research object, the main details of this paperare as follows:(1) A mathematical model of the single-phase inverter based on rotatingquadrants was proposed, and the double-loop controller was also designbased on feed forward decoupling;(2) To solve the problem of output impedance mismatch and restraincirculating current among the parallel inverters, the virtual impedance baseon rotating quadrants was proposed.(3) To achieve power-sharing among parallel inverters in the MicroGrid, improved droop control scheme was designed.(4) To achieve the function of “plug and play” and power-sharing inmicro grid, several different conditions when the DGs connected ordisconnected to the micro grid had been researched. By using secondaryfrequency modulation, the circulation was eliminated effectively, and therecovery time to steady state was also reduced. (5) The rationality and feasibility of these strategies had been provedthrough comparing and analyzing the different simulation results by usingMATALAB/Simulink.(6) At last, in order to proof the proposed strategies, a prototypeinverter with software and hardware was designed based onTMS320LF2407A.
