With the development and progress of modern science and technology, the performance of military artillery has also been greatly improved. So the gun factory inspection requirements are more demanding. Gun control system in Modern Warfareplays a role of "more and more important in play, the key in the gun control" thisjudgment enough to explain everything. And good degree of turret motor performance parameters directly determines the performance of gun control device. The firstenemy fire, the first hit or hair is quite important. This shows the necessity and importance of the design of high precision and good maneuvering performance turretis convex. At present, the turret performance parameter test mainly by manual testand optical equipment and measurement based on image processing based on thesetest methods, generally rely on subjective factors, the measurement accuracy is low,time-consuming consumption, complex operation, poor anti-interference ability etc.With the development of science and technology and widely used in weapon equipment, the simple measurement method of debugging has been unable to meet the in vehicle device commissioning requirements of weapon. Study on the measurementmethod of the urgent need to expand, the maneuvering performance measurement system of high precision and high efficiency of the vehicle weapon gun control, tomeet the actual needs of the factory identification.In view of this situation, this paper designs a MEMS inertial measurement unitbased on the turret angular velocity measurement device, used to make up for theshortcomings of the methods, in order to meet the actual demand. According to the relevant provisions of the national military standards, motor performance parameter test of weapon, the main parameters measurement and control are angular velocitymeasurement, angle measurement and force control and torque measurement. Whilethe motor performance is angle and angular velocity measurement, it is the first st ep of gun control system, is a fast accurate, the primary measure. First of all, through the field of the turret maneuver ability to visit and study, formulate the corresponding improvement scheme. Then select the IMU inertial measurement unit to measure, the final sensor type is MPU6050, given that the chip with a DMP processor, can greatly improve the measurement accuracy. At the end of the performance measurement of performance data back to the recursive median average filter throughthe wireless module in real time back to the host computer display.MEMS inertial measurement unit of the turret angular velocity and high precision measuring device based on this project, to solve the problem, the fluctuation ofmutation of gyro drift and measurement data. Through the calibration of the standard system and experiments on a certain type of tank on the measurement accuracyof the device are0.05dps. The device has the advantages of simple operation, high sensitivity, low cost, strong practicability, and can effectively improve the test precision, save man power, shorten the measurement time, to meet the needs of practical application, so it can meet the measurement requirements of tank turret angularvelocity, has very high practical value.
