With the development of social economy, road traffic safety becomes more and more attention, the traffic accidents happened in rainy environment are become more and more. Because of rainy weather the road surface of the water film lubrication, dry road surface friction coefficient less than half, and thus vulnerable to slipping wheels, as the speed increases, so that the tire and the road surface adhesion coefficient decreases sharply, braking distance increases, a direct threat to the safety of passengers and the driver, so the rain tires and road safety research mechanism slip has very important significance. In this paper, through the tire slip mechanism analysis, numerical simulations of hydrodynamic pressure driving rain calculation and analysis, rainy environment highway traffic safety research, when driving rain slippery highway traffic safety measures of improvement were the following:① Through investigation and analysis, numerical simulation model to establish a three-dimensional water-skiing slick tires and different tire tread depth of the trench, tires and water film finite element model of three-dimensional finite element model of the tire hydroplaning. Based on existing research determine the scope of the calculation model; the depth dimension y direction is 50mm, x, z boundary size 800* 1230mm.②Free flow under natural conditions (road surface water flow, open channel flow, etc.) are mostly turbulent, and thus considered in the model in the simulation of turbulent flow, the use of hydraulics and hydrology theory derived for calculating the thickness of the water film formula.And according to Ji Tianjian,Huang Xiaoming and other asphalt pavement surface water film thickness data obtained by this test the water film thickness calculation formula was verified, the results show that the formula and the resulting test data related to a high degree, can be used in the actual calculation.③ Numerical simulation analysis using the slick tires and different tire tread depth of the trench water-skiing the whole process, to get the tires in different conditions of flow and hydrodynamic pressure distribution and change the situation and get the water film thickness and pressure and the relationship between rainfall intensity and pressure.④It gives the maximum speed recommended value under different rainfall conditions of the vehicle safe driving, which for highway management department under rainy weather conditions, the vehicle speed to ensure safe driving vehicles provide some basis.⑤ For the current lack of relevant design specifications, integrated road longitudinal slope, curve radius and road adhesion coefficient stopping sight distance and the speed of impact is analyzed, and longitudinal correction value and a safe speed recommended values of rain stopping sight distance highway.⑥ Combined results of this study, design speed (pitch) feedback instrument works and layout program, combined with the distance between vehicles confirmation flag to remind the driver to reduce highway section rain water skiing accident.
