The wheels would appear Polygon wear and abrasion scar wear in the circumferential direction when truck are running for some time at high speed. Wheel of polygon and flat scar will cause a change in the wheel-rail contact relationship, a direct result is severe vibration between wheel and rail. This severe vibration not only reduces passenger comfort, but also has a great damage to track vehicle parts and rail.Axle box as a vital bearing component,its fatigue resistance is essential to the safe operation of the vehicle.Since the axle box firstly suffers severe vibrations caused by the flat scar wheel and the polygon wheel,so it is necessary to analyse the fatigue of axle box in the flat scar wheel and the polygon wheel conditions.In this paper wheel diameter variation along the circumferential direction of the polygonal wheel mathematical model and the wheel flat scar mathematical model considering is established. Combining high-speed vehicle multi rigid body dynamic model, the 200km/h operation of the high-speed freight car in the Beijing Tianjin line is simulated, and normal wheels, measured polygonal wheel, cycle of polygonal wheels, wheelflats wheel state of axle load time history can be obtained.In this paper, the finite element model of the high speed freight car axle box is established, and the fatigue strength of the axle box is evaluated based on the EN 13749 standard and the TB/T2368 standard. At the same time, based on quasi static method get evaluation point direction stress time history, principal stress and time history of rain flow counting, results in a hierarchical load spectrum blocks. According to the fatigue strength assessment methods of FKM, in the evaluation of finite element analysis base, for each force components by using evaluated separately, and synthesized utilization degree, this paper compiles the corresponding program. Based on the FKM fatigue strength evaluation method, the utilization of the axle box of the evaluation points is calculated. The effect of wheel deformation and wheel flat scar on the axle box fatigue damage is analyzed.
