Recently, the velocity of the train is getting much faster. While the high-speed railway industry develops, environmental vibration problems due to railway operation become public, technical and administrative concerns. The environmental vibrations induced by passing trains may cause structural damages on adjacent buildings, they will bring some problems as the malfunctioning of some high-precision instruments or facilities housed in the buildings, and the bad moods of the residents living alongside the railways. Because of the increasing influence brought by passing train, the problem of high-speed train-induced vibrations has become a focus of researchers in recent years. The purpose of this article is to discuss the dynamic characteristics of the high speed rail train induced vibration by finite element analysis method (FEA)and to lay the foundation for further study of environmental vibration. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1、 To simulate vibration wave propagation, a high-speed rail train system model is established by setting the size and material parameters. Modal analysis is performed to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the rail-train-ground system.2、Check convergence of the element number before further analysis.3、To explore the impact of different speed conditions on amplitude,14 speeds of the train are examined varying from 100 km/h to 350 km/h.4、At maximum speed 200km/h for the study conditions. For the case of accelerating to 200 km/h within one second, maintaining same speed for another second, then decelerating to 0 km/h in the last second. And then after 5 seconds pause, analyse the amplitude impact at a speed of 200km/h within 0~8s.5、At maximum speed 200km/h for the study conditions, analyse the lateral (Y direction) vibration dynamics.6、At maximum speed 200km/h for the study conditions, analyse the Longitudinal (Y direction) vibration dynamics. This paper studies the vibration characteristics of the environmental vibration caused by high-speed train. The results are valuable to provide new ideas for proposing methods of damping vibrations. The results can be useful references for railway system, environment, earthquake engineering.
