With the development of our society and technology, the popularity of automobile is becoming more and more widespread. The car can bring us with convenience, during working hours, because of the road surrounding and lighting problems, road traffic accidents occur frequently. Recently, the death toll caused by traffic accidents is increased year by year. According to the statistics of the traffic accidents, finding that poor lighting conditions in road is one of the important reasons in accidents. At the same time, traditional automobile headlight system still exist many problems. For example, when cars meeting each other at night, drives switching high beam or dipped headlight frequently, will increase the driver’s labor intensity, which will make the driver distraction. If using the same light, when the opposite car still use high beam, will affect the driver’s vision seriously, which make the incidence rate of traffic accidents increased. When the car is in a turn, the irradiation angle of some automobile headlight headlamp are fixed, the beam can’t deflection and can’t meet the requirements of the driver, prone to produce vision blind area. Therefore, the improvement and the innovation of traditional automotive lighting system, is becoming more and more important in automotive industry.Energy saving and emission reduction has become a hot topic in the current world in the background of the current global energy shortage, but the lighting is still dominated by low efficiency lighting in our country. Since LED has the advantages of small volume, long service life, low voltage, high brightness, low quantity of heat, applied to automobile headlamp and signal lamp, which can improve the efficiency and the quality of light, it’s good for environmental protection and the sustainable development of human beings.With reference to the relevant regulations of various traffic management and the complex conditions during driving, researching and developing LED control system. This paper firstly introduces the current development of automobile intelligent control system at home and abroad and the trend of development, then puts forward the scheme of the system based on relevant laws. Then designs the fuzzy overall controller for light horizontal deflection, and uses MATLAB to get the fuzzy controller of the system. In the part of hardware design, microprocessor and sensors are selected, the installation position are given, and the peripheral circuits are designed. In the part of the software design, the system flow chart and each function module flow chart are designed, the source codes are written and debugged in Keil compiler environment, and the main function of hardware models are builded in Protues, the collaborative of hardware and software simulated, to verify the feasibility of design scheme. At the end of the thesis, summarizing current work, putting forward some problems to be solved, and providing references for further research of the system.
