As a kind of cable system bridge, cable-stayed bridge is the main bridge of long span bridges. Because of its great spanning capacity and novel structure, cable-stayed bridge has become one of the fastest-growing and most competitive bridge type in modern bridge engineering. At the end of 1980s, our country built Shanghai Nanpu Bridge, which created the precedent of more than 400 meters long span cable-stayed bridge. Today, China has established 59 cable-stayed bridges with a span more than 400 meters, more than half of the whole world, being the first in the world. The main advantage of cable-stayed bridge is that:the cable is not only the elastic support, but can also change actively according to demand. The adjusted cable force makes the girder stress more reasonable and optimizing. So the cable force becomes a very important problem in cable-stayed bridge design and construction control work. The paper, focus on a cable-stayed bridge construction by floor frame method, gives some research on cable force as follows:1) Summarized several methods to calculate reasonable cable force, built model of this bridge and calculated the cable force for finished state bridge.2) Discussed the construction control method of cable and put forward a reasonable construction control scheme, the method of two times tensile.3) According to the situation of this bridge, did some further research of the cable adjusting method. Put forward a new method which ignore the process but compare the difference before and after adjusting, then calculate the pull out capacity of the anchor cup at one time. And verified the feasibility of this method.4) Introduced some methods commonly used in measuring cable force, and described the way how to measure the cable force of this bridge in detail.
