Liquefued Natural Gas, due to its safe and convenient to use, easy to store and transport,makes the demand of the LNG rapid growing, so the demand of the tank(LNG tanks) be used to processing and storage of liquefied Natural Gas(LNG) is increasing, and toward large-scale development. With natural ga liquefation technology advances, the liquefaction cost is greatly reduced compared with before, ths increase the ompetitiveness of LNG and other energ, make it the world’s fastest growing eergy supplies a kind of new energy and low temperature storage tank as the main storage, of LNG receiving equipment, its importance is self-evident, and according to the structural type, there are vertcal and horizontal, for larger volume of cutomers will usually choose horizontal storage tnk at low temperature. So the study of LNG horizntal tank and relaed structures and the use of very necessary.The study of our designers on the large horizontal LNG storage tank was under static load-bearing structures without seismic response analysis. Under the strong earthquake function, Once the horizontal LNG storage tank especially the large one has the destruction,Possibly will cause the detonation or divulging therefore causes the serious losses. Based on this kind of present situation, this article to the large horizontal LNG storage capacity storage tank concretes outer wall in statical analysis’ s foundation to carry on the time interval analysis,what’s more, the analysis of the influence of different reinforcing ring Settings on the structure,provides the theory basis for the project application.This paper aims to study large horizontal LNG storage tanks, in view of the large-scale horizontal of 463 m3 LNG storage tanks, the modal seismic and analysis response analysis,and comparison analysis under different Settings of stiffening ring, the main iswork as follows:1, According to GB 150 specification for design and calculation of large horizontal tank size, and the two reinforcing ring to design the size and location, respectively.2, Briefly illustrates the adopted by the finite element analysis method, and the outflow of domestic solid coupling problem in the full research, on the basis of determining the coupling structure-fluid analysis theory and method.3, Based on the large scaled finite element software adina.the established LNG horizontal tank structure, and has carried on the static load on the structure and the modal analysis, analysis of water and water dynamic characteristics of the structure, and studied the water sloshing effect on the structure, calculation shows that without the structure of the water cycle is bigger, when water storage, water body shaking greatly reduces the cycle of the water tower structure.4,On the basis of modal analysis, horizontal tank model was set up in more than 8respectively under severe earthquake, three different seismic wave dynamic time history analysis, analysis of the different seismic responses of the seismic under earthquake, and the two reinforcing ring set mode of horizontal tank seismic response were analyzed, the results show that the horizontal tank structure response under seismic action is not only related to the dynamic performance of the structure itself, but also related to the characteristics of seismic wave, at the same time different setting stiffening ring on the seismic response of the horizontal tank structure have different positive influence.
