| It is evident that the traffic plays an important role in the rapid development of the city in the contemporary society. But in recent years, as the problem of traffic congestion is aggravating, urban network grid lock caused by traffic overflow has gradually attracted the attention of the public as a form of traffic jam. The urban traffic network grid lock prediction technology and Geographic Information System for Transportation are important parts in Intelligent Transportation System, which can improve the level of urban traffic intelligent management. Besides, the GIS-T display technology has two strong advantages of in mixed data structure and geographical spatial analysis function, with whose rapid development in recent years, it is widely used in various fields.In this paper, based on shock wave theory, first of all the phenomenon of traffic overflow are summarized, network grid lock diffusion mechanism of urban transportation is described in the geometry model of the virtual road. Next based on the shock wave theory and analysis of the wave, comes the exploration of the queue length algorithm based on the stop-wave model and linear prediction model of queue length, which would lay the foundation for prediction of grid lock’s influence to the traffic network. Finally divide the urban traffic network grid lock scope research problem into two sub-problems, the urban traffic network grid lock propagation model and queue length linear prediction model.To resolve the grid lock display problem, in this paper, the GIS software developed by the hyper-graph software co., LTD., Beijing is taken as a platform, which means to use the software of SuperMap Deskpro.net to make the maps and to use the SuperMap Objects and C sharp language in VS2008 environment to programme. Firstly, make maps for each layer and set up the corresponding property sheet, the property will be updated with the queue length of road change. Then, add the queried geometric objects to the corresponding tracking layer, use the buffer analysis, tracking application function to implement the dynamic tracking, so as to finally realize the dynamic visual expression of the spread of urban traffic network grid lock.To conclude, based on the shock wave theory, the paper put up with a model of urban traffic network grid lock spread and complete the system development. Experiments show that the model is practical and effective, meeting the requirement of real-time performance and stability. This research provides a new thought and a valid foundation for the study on the urban traffic network grid lock field. |
