Research On Landscape Strategies Of Residential Rainwater Harvesting

Urban construction destroyed the original hydrological cycle, changing the natural hydrological cycle characteristics. Surface runoff coefficient increases, increasing the amount of rainwater. Waterlogging disasters occur frequently, which become the focus of immediate concern to the community, and the "draining-based" traditional approach has been unable to solve this problem. Some developed countries, through long-term researches, came up with several new stormwater management systems, and achieved good results in practice of various scales. And the new ideas presented in residential stormwater management practices has a good reference on the domestic residential rainwater utilization.Combing the technology and gardening art becomes a new stormwater management perspective, which is in line with the development trends of modern society. In this paper,urban water problems as the research background, it analyses the stormwater issues under the traditional residential development mode, and the necessity of residential rainwater utilization. Through the research about domestic and foreign relevant theory and typical case study, the landscape design of residential area rainwater utilization method are pointed out in the paper. Combined with the rainwater utilization status quo of residential district in Wuhan city and its landscape potential analysis, from the rainwater usage facilities, the utilization process and its landscape space construction aspects, this paper proposed the Wuhan residential rainwater landscape usage strategy and residential area rainwater usage thoughts for reference.First of all, this paper combs related concepts and basic theory of rainwater landscape utilization and residential area, and analyzed the residential rainwater classification, the process of rainwater usage and rainwater usage facilities;Secondly, combining with related case study and analysis of typical cases, from the points of whole rainwater landscape spatial organization, rainwater usage process organization and landscape design of facilities, it points out the landscape design method of residential rainwater utilization.Finally, combining with the fields investigation about the present situation of rainwater utilization in residential areas in Wuhan and rainwater usage landscape potential analysis, it put forward the landscape strategy of residential rainwater utilization in Wuhan: use current facilities to set more rainwater utilization system, through the ways of transformation form, add texture and colors, combination layout to increase rainwater utilization process visualization, ornamental effect and create local characteristics of water landscape space.
