As one of the basic components and fundamental part of the urban transport system, urban road network systems carry human social and economic activities. However, with the rapid social and economic development, the urban road traffic congestion is getting worse, individual node failure in urban road networks may cause massive traffic gridlock, that is the urban road network cascading failure, and congestion may be spread over the entire transport network, then the urban road network will show its vulnerability. Thus, it is of great significance to make a research on the dynamic model of disaster spread on the urban road networks.First of all, this thesis summarizes the research status of the theory of city traffic complex networks, the cascading failure and its connotation in domestic and abroad. The characteristics of the urban road networks are analyzed. When considering the urban road network as a hybrid network, a bi-level urban road traffic network model is constructed.Secondly, a dynamic shortest path model is built, and a shortest path search algorithm based on genetic algorithm and design steps are proposed. Moreover, when considering the node self-healing function and disaster spreading mechanism, a disaster spreading dynamics model on the urban road network is constructed, and the failure strength of the connection node, the node degrees, and self- healing factor correlations on the urban road traffic networks are analyzed. Finally, an example is designed for conducting the model simulation, and it shows that the self-healing function of node and the delay time have great influence on the spread of disasters. The model can simulate/the evolution of disasters dynamic behavior on urban road network in effective way.Ultimately, a brief discussing on the shortcomings of this thesis and the prospects for future research is elaborated.
