Cardiac output is one of the key hemodynamic parameters, and it is important to be continuously monitored. Current clinical cardiac output monitor methods are mainly invasive, minimally invasive method are undergoing clinical validation, but for ordinary patients and healthy people, noninvasive method has better application value. Existing Noninvasive methods are complicate, expensive, and of poor anti-jamming and stability, and have no promotional value. Therefore, it is of great value to study a noninvasive, continuous, portable, low-cost cardiac output monitor.The contents of the thesis include:1. Proposed a noninvasive continuous cardiac output method,which is based on photoplethysmography (PPG), to calculate the attenuation constant RC using the PPG, and according to the arterial compliance and the pulse transit time, to obtain the peripheral resistance to calculate the cardiac output. And name it KC method.2. Design software of the noninvasive cardiac output monitoring system according to the KC method, to monitor the continuous cardiac output and other hemodynamic parameters in real-time, and can assist in verifying and correcting the KC method.3. Validate the KC method, using-ten patient data to validate the KC method of feasible, using two data to calculate the cardiac output in noninvasive way. The result shows that the cardiac output of KC method has a great trend consistency with the cardiac output obtained by Flotrac/Vigileo monitor, when the patient’s CO change largely.KC method does not rely on statistical principles, can accurately reflect the variation trends of cardiac output, it needn’t to get population statistical parameters, so that the development of the measuring instrument system has good adaptability to individual. The noninvasive cardiac output method which is based on the PPG, do no damage to the people, it can be used widely compared with the invasive method, and can be applied to monitor the healthy people and mild patients.
