With increasing span of arch bridge, it’s construction method is updated step by step to meet the needs of the long-span RC arch bridge construction. The construction method at home and abroad mainly adopted is cantilever construction, cable-hoisting erection, rotation and steel reinforcement casting method, of which steel reinforcement casting method and cantilever construction method is the most widely.However,these construction methods have their shortcomings. Such as the cable force of cantilever construction method in the state of the largest cantilever is very big, and it also has a high requirement on the tower,anchorage, lasso. And the steel reinforcement casting method may take lots of steel. The combination of cantilever construction method and steel reinforcement casting method has the advantages of both, and can avoid the shortcomings to some extent, so it can improve the economy of large-span arch bridge and reduce the construction risk at the same time.This paper selects the construction methods research as a breakthrough, explore the improvement of construction methods bases on existing materials and structure to improve the current problems existing in the concrete arch bridge’s building, so that such arch bridges have a better economy and durability,in order to have a better service to western region development. The main contents are as following:①The research of length reasonable division of both strength framework segments and cantilever segmentsResearch strength framework segments and cantilever arch feet length’s division, establish the arch bridge cantilever construction of finite element model, analysis the mechanical properties of arch ring in the construction process and temporary sola force of changes, research based on stress and temporary cable arch ring cantilever construction period of the maximum tension and strength framework segment length ratio range, in order to determine a reasonable span between strength framework segments and the cantilever construction period of arch foot rang.② The cantilever concrete arch bridge with strength framework construction reasonable scope of research.For the tower of cantilever construction, strength framework combination construction method of reinforced concrete arch bridges that build in abroad for investigation, analysis the structure of the mechanical performance and economic efficiency by use of this method in construction process, and through the analysis of the contrast of 200 meters, 300 meters, 400 meters, 500 meters span cantilever construction and strength framework combination construction process and stress performance of arch ring, research based on domestic technology condition combination arch bridge cantilever construction and strength framework construction reasonable span range.
