For a long time,the determination of the fatigue life of asphalt pavement is usually translated into the current design standards for axle load calculation,but there is a large gap between this theory and the actual situation of the road. The irrational design of the pavement results in destruction of large areas in advance.This article puts forward the asphalt mixture research on the accumulation of fatigue damage mechanism in considering the actual traffic load of the pavement in allusion to the above problems. Firstly,through the asphalt mixture fatigue life analysis,gained the fatigue life corresponding to each of the vertical elastic deformation, and then converted it into the level of elastic deformation, which made the strain fatigue equation under the stress control mode independent of temperature accordingly. Secondly,validated the asphalt mixture fatigue damage accumulation mechanism from the theoretical deduction and analysis,the classification of asphalt mixture loading test result basically meet the Miner theorem. Finally,taking the central region of Yunnan Province (Yunnan pavement surface temperature partition Ⅱ)for example, on the basis of the calculation example relevant influence parameters(the frequency distribution of the pavement surface temperature,the distribution of the pavement structure temperature,traffic axle load conditions)applied the cumulative fatigue damage theory on the fatigue life of asphalt pavement analysis depending on the strain fatigue equation gained in laboratory fatigue test. the results showed that the fatigue life of the former is 0.88 times as that converted into standard axle load.This article aims to provide theoretical support for the asphalt pavement of the pavement from the point of view of fatigue design method of fatigue limit on the basis of the mechanical analysis of the cumulative fatigue damage of asphalt mixtures.
