The landing gear is not only to static load when the aircraft Park, but also bear a large impact load and fatigue load and consumping and absorping of impact and shock energy when the aircraft take-off and landing. Landing gear is one of the key components in aircraft safety, it Will directly affect the safety of aircraft taking off and landing,the lock shell is the key part to decided to landing gear retraction system function. The lock shell locking gear and door in the stowed position and locking gear and door after Gear down, unlock in gear process, Ensuring coordinated well and landing gear retracting and lock action sequence. The landing gear parts material is widely used in low alloy ultra high strength steel, Super high strength low alloy steel with high hardness, high strength, but the difficult machining, we need to select the appropriate tool for processing,the processing precision and deformation of lock shell is not easy to control.This paper explores processing characteristics and processing method on the machining center based on the structural characteristics and processing requirements of the lock shell parts. The lock shell has complex structure and many machining parts and the same parts require multiple processing and need repeated positioning precision, this increases the difficulty of process method,The lock shell parts vulnerable to the clamping force, cutting force, the influence of the residual stress and other factors to caused deformation, through reasonable selection of cutting tool, clamping force control, optimization of machining program strategy, reducing the residual stress and the use of VERICUT simulation software of constant volume and constant depth of cut optimization methods to control the deformation of thin-walled parts machining program optimization method and online monitoring deformation degree of various parts in the process of coordinate axes, combining with the measured values, timely adjust program strategy, after heat treatment, on a horizontal machining center scan parts heat deformation, through the comparison to illustrate the method to control the machining deformation and validity in order to gets the machining data and experience support.
