Although our country’s national economy and overall national strength have been continuing to improve, under the global background of the energy shortage, the utilization of marine resources has become the key point of global development. The blue ocean strategic plan which is proposed by our nation heavily relies on offshore platforms-the essential structure that used as basic facility of exploiting fossil oil-whose structure design holds paramount safety of employees and economic efficiency of the whole project.Based on what has been discussed above and the complexity of offshore platform steel structure system whose stability capacity is an inseparable part of structural bearing capacity, it is necessary to research on stability capacity of offshore platform. If poorly designed, the steel platform has a tendency that it may cause the structural overall instability or local instability, even collapse, which may cause great casualties and economic losses, so attention must be taken.In this paper, the finite element software ANSYS was usd to analyze the static and dynamic stability bearing capacity of JZ20-2 North High Point wellhead platform jacket, for valuable reference of the analysis and research on stability of offshore platform structure. The main work follows:(1) A new type of self-resetting offshore platform architecture with the swaying reset structure system was established through the finite element software ANSYS, and static stability property was analyzed. First, analyze the static linear eigenvalue buckling property, then analyze self resetting swinging column platform and self reset cable platform static liner eigenvalue buckling property respectively, get the buckling modes and the critical buckling loads, and compare with the original platform; secondly, tried to change the internal structure of the rod parameters variation analysis of the stability, provide a basis for subsequent nonlinear and dynamic stability research; and finally, based on static analysis, applying nonlinear finite element analysis methods, taking it into account that the geometry of double nonlinear material impact on the overall stability of the structure analysis, receive the load- displacement curves and ultimate bearing capacity, analyze the structure of the plastic development, discovery offshore platform structure for the more sensitive structure.(2) Due to space limitations, this article only focus on a self-resetting rocking column offshore platform structure system stability under seismic loading and dynamic ice loads. According to the dynamic response of the whole process of decision criteria curves, analyze the stability of column- offshore platform in a variety of seismic load and ice squeeze, the ice bent,analysis the stability determining structural instability thresholds, provide a reference for the structural design.
