Shell and tube heat exchanger for PVDF has the advantage of corrosion resistance,anti fouling,low price,strong adaptability and heat transfer efficiency is stable,which is suitable for low temperature waste heat recovery in industrial waste water.The performance of Shell and tube heat exchanger for PVDF depends on the fluid flow of tube side and shell side and the mutual coupling effect,while the flow state of the shell side fluid is directly affect heat transfer performance of heat exchanger.Therefore,researching the flow state in shell side fluid of shell and tube heat exchanger,finding the arrangement of heat exchange tube,tube spacing,the inlet velocity of shell side fluid,the inlet temperature of shell side fluid and baffle spacing and other factors on the impact of performance of PVDF heat exchanger for improving the heat transfer efficiency of PVDF heat exchanger and reducing the operating energy consumption has important practical significance,the results of the study can be used to provide guidance and basis for establishing model of PVDF heat exchanger and optimizating structural design of heat exchanger.Physical model of shell and tube heat exchanger for PVDF has been established,the flow state for shell side fluid of heat exchanger were studied by numerical simulation by using Fluent flow simulation software,heat transfer performance and shell side pressure drop were analyzed between PVDF heat exchanger and metal heat exchanger,the advantage of PVDF heat exchanger was pointed out;The fluid flow rule in shell side of PVDF heat exchanger and the influence factors that affect heat transfer performance of shell and tube heat exchanger for PVDF were analyzed,and when other factors keep constant,to analyze the influence law of heat transfer performance and shell side pressure drop through changing any one factor,get the structure design parameters of shell and tube heat exchanger for PVDF which is economic and reasonable,and the heat transfer efficiency is high relatively.The experiment platform of heat recovery was established,the influence on heat transfer performance of PVDF heat exchanger were analyzed through changing arrangement of heat exchange tube and tube spacing,the experimental results and the simulated results are in good agreement,the structure design parameters of heat exchanger that the heat transfer efficiency is best and shell side pressure drop is small relatively was further validated;The average heat transfer coefficient of PVDF heat exchanger was calculated respectively using mean temperature difference method and ε-NTU method,the error is in the allowable range,and the accuracy of experimental results is validated;The change rule of Nusselt number and pressure drop for shell side with average Reynolds number in the narrowest section of the shell side were analyzed,heat transfer criteria relationship expression and flow resistance criteria relationship expression in shell side of PVDF heat exchanger was obtained by data fitting.
