| With the fast development of economics and technology in China, the underground space is being widely exploited and the pile foundation is playing a very important role In engineering construction, especially the uplift pile, which is widely used urgently require for a universal theory in order to ensure its safely use. Under this background, this paper will mainly carry on the following work:(1)The development course of pile foundation was explained and the research present situation of uplift piles was summarized, including the field test, model test and numerical simulation analysis so on.(2)The design and calculation about pile foundation was introduced. The paper analysed the failure pattern of the uplift pile, the similarities and differences on the different load. Besides, this paper introduced how to calculate the bearing capacity and skin friction of the uplift.(3)Basing on the inspection test of uplift pile in Hang Lung City Plaza development, this paper analysed the test results of load-displacement, the axial force of pile and the side friction. Meanwhile, it expounded that the post grouting technology can improve the bearing behavior of uplift piles effectively.(4)The numerical analysis model was set up including the soil around the pile, the pile and the contact face element and then this paper conducted three dimensional numerical analysis in order to get the cloud chart of the displacement and the stress.(5)Comparative analysis of the result of the test and the calculation was reflected basing on the destruction test of TP4 uplift pile in Hang Lung City Plaza development and then analysed the error in order to check the Rationality of the model.
