The staggered truss and shear wall structure is a new building structure form. The staggered truss structure means that the configuration of cross-walls is replaced by the floor-tall truss and each row of truss is placed in every other floor, forming a new staggered structure. This paper will use ferroconcrete for configuration, and directly connect the concrete truss in each row with the shear wall surrounding this structure. The top and bottom chord members and the floor slab in the middle will jointly support the load between the neighboring structure floors. All of these could make a brand new force form. Since the truss is staggered by every other floor, it could provide each floor with a larger space of double size. This structure fully accords with the development trend of model high-rise buildings, so it is very necessary to conduct research on this new structure. This paper uses the finite element analysis software SAP2000 to build an 18-floor staggered truss and shear wall structure model, and makes sure that the structure is simulated in 7 degree seismic fortification intensity areas. Firstly, apply the mode-superposition response spectrum method to conduct the elasticity analysis on the structure under constant earth quakes. Then analyze from the deformation and the internal force of the structure, and check calculations according to the Interlayer displacement Angle limit required by aseismatic standards. This analysis can show:Under minor earthquakes, the maximum Interlayer displacement Angle limit is1/1000 of the standard, and it has achieved the aseismatic goal of "Unaffected under minor earthquakes". Secondly, continue using this model, and select two seismic waves and one artificial wave to analyze the elastoplasticity time-histories under middle and major earthquakes. Then check calculations based on structure motive-force time-history analysis and the development of plastic hinge, andaccording to aseismatic standards. This analysis can show: The structure can maintain stability in plastic working conditions and under middle and major earthquakes at the same time. And it has achieved the aseismatic goal of "Repairable under middle earthquakes, and not collapsed under major earthquakes".Finally, I will propose reasonable design advice based on the analysis outcome of the staggered truss and shear wall structure.
