The highway section from Jilin to Huanggang belongs to the seasonal frozen area of over-wet soil. It’s rainy season is longer, the rainfall is relatively concentrated, and the surface water is difficult to discharge in time, so that the underground water is always staying on a high level. The soil in this area often in a state of high water content, with loose soil, large void ratio and low bearing capacity, combined with the damage of the structure of soil which dues to the freeze-thaw cycle, the stability of soil is relatively poor. Therefore, in other to ensure the smoothly highway construction, guarantee the safety and stability of the built ones, it is necessary to make a treatment to the subgrage filling in the seasonal frozen area of over-wet soil.Through consulting relevant materials, on the basis of summarizing and analyzing the research status at home and abroad and theoretical findings about the subgrade treatment in seasonal frozen area of over-wet, the author of this thesis mainly deals with the following reasearch content.(1) Through the basic physical mechanics test indoor, the basic physical and mechanical properties indicators of the over-wet soil in seasonal frozen area are concluded. Makes a definition according to the water content, liquid plastic limit and other indicators of over-wet soil in seasonal frozen area, then, put forward the technology solutions for the treatment of the over-wet soil in seasonal frozen area.(2) According to the research of technology solutions for the treatment of the over-wet soil in seasonal frozen area, concludes a testing scheme which makes cement as the adding agent to improve the over-wet soil in the seasonal frozen area. The author carries out a research for the physical system of the soil improved by cement. Then, calculates the compaction character, unconfined compressive strength, CBR bearing ratio, modulus of resilience, water stability, freeze-thaw stability and other indicators in road performance.(3) According to the research of technology solutions for the treatment of the over-wet soil in seasonal frozen area, and the constast analysis of the experimental data of mechanical strength and stability of the over-wet soil in seasonal frozen area, soil improved by cement and the over-wet soil in seasonal frozen area improved by cement. The author analyzes the change rules of the engineering properties of improved soil, summarizes the improvement effect of the over-wet soil in seasonal frozed area improved by cement, and provides a solid data support and theoretical basis for the construction of the highway section from Jilin to Huanggang.
