Microcystin is a kind of the micro capsule chara, oscillatoria, fishy chara andnostoc produce a hepatotoxin of monocyclic seven peptides, its drug mechanismis mainly on the liver damage, its effect on promoting tumor and inhibit proteinphosphatase, microcystins is ever found that the strongest liver tumor promoters.And microcystins has strong stability, on natural conditions, degradation rate isextremely low, the conventional water treatment technology on removal effect ofmicrocystins is not ideal. According to the characteristics of microcystins aredegradation-resistant and highly pathogenic, this article adopts the ozone and itscombination technology to analyze removal effect of MC-LR, and used to solvethe drinking water problem of MC-LR pollution by the algae boom, as forimproving people’s drinking water safety is of great significance.In this paper, some drinking water source in north conducts algae cultivationanalysis, simulation that due to under the condition of high temperature insummer algae outbreak makes pollution of MC-LR, using ozone and itscombination process to analyze removal of MC-LR. Experimental results showthat ozone has good removal effect on MC-LR, 2 mg/L ozone used alone,removal rate of MC-LR reaches 65.28%, removal rate of UV254 and turbidity are30.94% and 40.63%, removal rate of TOC and CODMn are 11.76% and 8.71%.And low p H value is helpful to remove MC-LR, but unfavorable to removeturbidity, UV254 and TOC, CODMn, prolonging reaction time is benefit to removeMC-LR and turbidity, UV254, TOC and CODMn.Ozone in conjunction with powder activated carbon, combination of 2 mg/Lozone and 20 mg/L powder activated carbon for removal rate of MC-LR is84.34%, for removal rate of UV254 and turbidity are 75.47% and 50%, theremoval rate of TOC and CODMn are 36.31% and 42.86%.The results showed thatcombination of ozone and activated carbon powder for removal efficiency ofMC-LR and turbidity, UV254 and TOC, CODMn are significantly enhanced thanusing ozone alone.Ozone in conjunction with polyaluminium chloride, dosing 2 mg/L ozoneand 20 mg/L polyaluminium chloride, removal rate of MC-LR is 90.32%,removal rate of UV254 and turbidity are 81.06% and 60.63%, removal rate ofTOC and CODMn are 35.19% and 62.86%.Removal effect of a separate use ofozone is obviously increased, and removal effect of the MC-LR, turbidity, UV254,CODMn is better than that process of ozone combine with powder activatedcarbon, as for removal effect of TOC is basically identical with process of ozonecombine with powder activated carbon.
