Multiferroic materials because of its rich physical background and application prospect of huge, gradually become a hot research topic in modern material science. This material not only has both ferromagnetic and ferroelectric properties, but also has a special attribute -- the magnetoelectric effect. From speaking, multiferroic materials can be divided into single-phase multiferroic materials and composite multiferroic materials. The multiferroic materials, due to the existence of ferromagnetism and ferroelectricity at room temperature, thus become the most likely to put into practical application. Therefore, in this thesis, based on the previous, aiming at the large leakage current, ferroelectric and ferromagnetic is weak, the single-phase multiferroic nano system as the research object, and through the comparison of different preparation methods, hoping to explore the method of preparation of ceramic effective. The design ideas of this paper are as follows:first introduce the multiferroic materials in the background of modern society and development prospect. After the description of the multiferroic materials can be divided into two categories, the specific definitions of these two categories and according to different properties and can be subdivided. The focus of this paper is the use of ceramic solid-state sintering and sol-gel method, BFO ceramics and two kinds of preparation methods of XRD are analyzed, to determine the optimum sintering temperature of two kinds of methods. At the same time on the merits of the two methods were compared. Conclusion, sol-gel method has certain advantages. But we should also recognize the sol-gel method also has some defects, so in the choice of methods, to suit one’s measures to local conditions into account, choose the most suitable method.
