Micro-channel condenser is the product of the pursuit of low-cost and energy-efficient in refrigeration field, which is a kind of small-sized compact heat exchanger. It is constituted by round manifold, porous flat tube and corrugated louver fin. It has many prominent features, such as high heat transfer coefficient, less refrigerant charge quantity, compact and efficient, superior resistance of corrosion, environmental protection and noise reduction and so on. Micro-channel condenser has been widely used in automotive air conditioning, which makes it surely spread in building air conditioning in the near feature. This paper studies micro-channel condenser in condensing units, and carried out structural optimization under operating conditions in home air conditioning.Based on the size of micro-channel condenser, this paper calculates the structural parameters such as the effective heat transfer area of the condenser in the refrigerant side and air side. Then use the distributed parameter method and efficiency-heat element method (ε-NTU method) for establishing micro-channel condenser calculation model, which in order to do the simulation analysis on the flow and heat transfer of the refrigerant side and air side. Finally get the variation of parameters such as heat transfer coefficient, heat exchange, the refrigerant pressure drop and the pressure along the longitudinal direction of the micro-channel condenser, and the results are analyzed.This paper also estimates the heat dissipation of the micro-channel condenser through experiments under the stable condition set up in the simulation, at the same time estimates heat dissipation of the condenser and calculates unit EER under several different condenser inlet air dry bulb temperature. The experimental and simulated values are compared. The result proves to have good consistency, which verifies the accuracy and availability of simulation models.Use simulation model to analyze how structural parameters of the refrigerant side such as flat tube flow process, flat tube hole number, flat tube hydraulic diameter and main structural parameters of the air side under three different head wind impacts the flow and heat transfer performance of micro-channel condenser. And optimize the structure parameters, then gives appropriate ranges.
