With the development of economy, the building energy consumption occupies an increasingly large proportion. As an essential part of modern architecture, the energy consumption of the central air conditioning system accounted for more than half of the whole building energy consumption. Cooling water system is an important part of central air-conditioning system and the energy consumption is closely related to the operation mode. Air conditioning system is designed according to the maximum load. But most of the time, the system is running under partial load in actual operation. It is of great significance to research on cooling water system energy optimization control. Therefore, this paper focuses on the problem of operation and energy saving of cooling water system and a series of work is carriedFirst of all, in order to research and verify variable flow optimization control method of central air conditoning cooling water system, the control test bench was built. Then the equipment installation and debugging was completed. Finally,the software and hardware monitoring and control system is developed. Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of constant temperature fuzzy control and traditional PI control, it is concluded that the better control performance fuzzy control method can be applied to the practical operation and the higher accuracy PI control method can be applied to the analysis. Then, it is found that the cooling water control system test-bed exist some problems from the experimental data—the cooling water pump selection is too large. Then, in order to study the optimal operation method of the reasonable cooling water system, the cooling water pump power was modified with the system.Secondly, the simulation calculation platform is built, which is focused on the modified cooling water system. The cooling water system optimization problem is researched by the simulation method. When calculating the power model of water cooled chiller, cooling tower fan and cooling water pump and cooling tower outlet temperature mathematical model were established. The unknown parameters in the model were identified by practical operation data of the system. On the basis of the traditional chiller model, a revised model was made, which was widely applied. The simplified calculation of cooling tower outlet temperature and the precision of the method were analyzed, which were applied to the optimization computation.In the end the optimization objective of cooling water system was built based on the simulation platform based on the simulation platform and the energy consumption steps of variable flow of cooling water system was analyzed, as the cooling load and outdoor dry bulb temperature and wet bulb temperature was known. The optimization control method of cooling water system was put forward through the calculation of cooling tower air flow and cooling water flow impact on the energy consumption of the system, which is called water flow optimal method. Energy consumption was compared by traditional approach and range control method, constant flow control method and optimization control method. It is concluded that the proposed optimization control method is the most energy-efficient method.
