In recent decades the human development is increasingly restricted by two problems which are energy shortages and environmental degradation. The proportion of the exploration and utilization of renewable energy is increasing year by year. Wind power as a kind of clean and renewable energy is paid more attention in the process of exploring new energy. However,people is accompanied by a series of problems when we have used wind power, and wind power system voltage stability problem is a key problem restricting the development of wind power industry. In this paper, based on this issue above, we study the wind power system voltage stability by the bifurcation theory of nonlinear dynamic system. The research emphasis of this paper mainly includes two sides. Firstly, we put forward a new method about how to track bifurcation points on the equilibrium solution manifold, and then we improve power method to get the biggest eigenvalue model based on solving high-order eigenvalue problem. Secondly, in view of the bifurcation phenomenon can effect on the voltage stability of wind power system, we put forward the corresponding solution and inhibit bifurcation method.The main research contents and conclusions were as follows:Firstly, we start to study how to track the bifurcation points on the equilibrium solution manifold in wind power system. This paper introduces the basic structure of the wind power system and the process of modeling. Then we write the programs of the model in MATCONT software. We get the equilibrium solution manifold of the system. We track the bifurcation point on the equilibrium solution manifold in the unit circle method and validate the search results with MATLAB simulation. In the process, we propose the improved power method to speed up calculating the biggest eigenvalue model, and prove the quickness and the effectiveness of improved power method in mathematical method. We have received the good effect in application.Secondly, because the bifurcation phenomenon can bring adverse effect to power system,we take measures to improve the voltage stability of the system by the reactive compensation.The chosen reactive power compensation device is SVC(Static Var Compensator). We make a simulation analysis to the wind power system model as the parameter of reactive power in bifurcation theory. The result show that SVC can effectively restrain bifurcation, can improve the power system stability margin and strengthen the stability of voltage. |
