In recent years, with the development of computer and microelectronics technology, hydraulic technology more and more combined with them, to improve the digital degree of hydraulic technology, hydraulic technology will be able to develop unprecedentedly. And the electro-hydraulic digital servo valve is their products, it in the hydraulic system is critical control element,and determines the main properties of the hydraulic system.Servo valve with fast response, high precision control and power-weight ratio, etc..2D digital servo valve compared with other digital servo valves,has a simple structure, low cost, strong anti-pollution, the integration of guidance-control level and the power level, small hysteresis, a small amount of leakage and good static and dynamic characteristics, etc. 2D digital servo valve has been used in the field of excitation units, aerospace and shipbuilding.12.5mm diameter of 2D digital servo valve designed by this paper uses chute and high and low pressure trough in the form of guidance and control level, used a stepping motor as electrical-mechanical converter, passed by the balance wheel and pendulum mechanism to control spool movement.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:1.This paper investigates the working principle of the 2D digital servo valve, and mechanism design. in order to improve the flow of the pilot control level and 2D valve frequency response,designs the chute and high-trough groove as the pilot stage, and make the pilot stage and power level as whole of the 2D valve, then achieve spool two degrees of freedom movement.2. This paper establishes 2D digital servo valve mathematical model. Simulink of MATLAB software simulates static and dynamic characteristics of 2D digital servo valve and the influence of various parameters on the frequency characteristics, optimizing the structure design,design double pendulum wheel step mechanism and make step experiments.3. In order to accurately zero setting of 2D digital servo valve, the paper designs zero setting mechanism, and proposed zeroing procedure, had provided a guarantee for 2D valve industrialization.And in the structure designs the spool zero position spring and the motor zero retaining spring to maintain the spool to be in the zero position. The 2D valve can effectively has been ensured in all cases also in the zero position status.4. On the basis of 2D digital servo valve experimental research, including testing various static and dynamic performance. The experimental results show 2D digital servo valve has good characteristics.
